I'm no knight in shining armour,
...but I'm trying to be...
Don't have a white horse,
But come ride with me...
Anywhere that I roam,

...even if not in my home...

I'm falling, trying to stop myself... call it stalling,
Hear me calling, your voice is all that keeps me soaring,
No more ignoring, the truths you suffocate through fear,
Silencing their every word everytime they pull you near,
Ease away the tears, give romance a chance to flourish,
Find strength in my arms, let our trust give you courage,
The love that we nourish, we never rushed into this blind,
Just wish that you were mine, I guess you're one of a kind?
Never one for lying, honesty is truly the best policy,
I speak from experience, I say this fact knowledgebly,
And obviously, always speak the truth and from the heart,
Can't trust me at the end, if I'm lying from the start...
Tears me apart, imagining you anywhere besides with me,
Saying it any differently's the "blackest kind of blasphemy",
My life's catastrophy, is me witnessing you walking away,
Since you're my last thought at night & my first every day...

If you had stopped right there, I'd still say this piece is definitely a collectors item. The reason I say this is, if any of us share this with a lady friend...well, nevermind. I'll leave that up to everyone else's imagination (or demonstration). haha

First of all, let it be known that the whole "dreamer in tinfoil" is sensible enough to be taken lightly but real enough to explore through deep thought. The armour may not be shiny but that doesn't mean the person beneath it isn't mighty. I'm a stickler for symbolism as you may already know. So big PROPS on the words usage and meaning there. As for the parts in bold (and yea the chorus is highlighted again because the shit is on point) those are the lines that instantly caught my attention because of their depth. But the entire piece is one that I'm positive your lady (or any lady for that matter) would favourite immediately. I like it for how it flows...naturally. And it's realness. Superheroes are not born. So watching a hero become super is worth the price of admission. The shit is excellent.

agree with Floz, how your topic compliments the already enticing chorus that connects with your final notion, "dreamer in tinfoil" and the wordplay with the title. nothing less the brilliant.

and of course it's gotta be about love. haha. this time on a high, romantic note. the imagery and metaphors are on point as always, LL standard. trying to depict this statement, "blackest kind of blasphemy". you have it in quotations, wondering where it was said and what's it mean by "blackest kind". anotha amazing drop.
