I actually reviewed the match again. It looked like Machida won the first 2 rounds. Especially with that hard knee to the gut. He also looked like he got a better percentage of kicks landed. But in the last 3 rounds, it was definitely Shogun that outshined Machida. Machida got some good hits in there. But it wasn't even close to the impact of the kicks Shogun gave him.
