Rob Yung's debut EP Daily Basis: The Weekly Agenda

Ever feel as if everyday of the week has a different feel or a different tempo to it? Like Monday mornings are always kinda slow because its the dreadful day everyone hates. Then Tuesdays are a bit more up-tempo because you have to get things done that you didn't get done the day before. Well this is how the week of an 18 year old mc/producer that is also a full time student in college feels like. But the only way in which he could express it is through words.

So today I bring you Rob Yung's debut EP Daily Basis: The Weekly Agenda. Its presented by www.1mic1life.com & www.theincrediblecreation.com. Enjoy!

I did my own tracklist lol, meaning I did your songs in this order since they didn't have one:

1. MunDae SoundTrack [Prod. By Jaylen]
2. Sleepless TuesDays [Prod. By Jaylen]
3. Commercial Break [Prod. By Lennon]
4. WenzDay [Prod. By Jaylen]
5. Rainy Thurzday [Prod. By Jaylen]
6. FryDay Night Lightz [Prod. By Jaylen]
7. What Happened To The Real
8. What They Didn't Know [Prod. By J Dilla]
9. You Must Be Crazy [Prod. By P Beatz]

Ok Robert Raveli, so let's start with the song that I didn't think was on point or my taste. To be honest, there wasn't one at all. The production, it was dope for that it was mellow and had gave you a nice pace to let everyone hear the words. And feel the lines, bar by bar. I mean, by far the single for this EP that standouts to me should be, "What Happened To The Real". That brings back that old school feel to it. And the lyrics are nice and people can adjust to it, people can relate to it. Now, "You Must Be Crazy", the hook wasn't up to par with me. You could use another vocalist for the hook, in my opinion. Or he should sing it a bit better than what was shown. "MunDae SoundTrack", like I said before, nice mellow beat, and you ride it perfectly meaning flow was on point. The lyrics were there, the punchlines were nice. "Commercial Break", yet another great feeling to the instrumental, a nice song to just be spittin' bars on. And yo still show more potential of lyricism, real talk. "FryDay Night Lightz", I love the stage performance, lol. Overall, it's mostly the same subject matter thick and thin. Which is good that you care for the status of Hip-Hop, of where it's going or the state that it's in. And it shows. But, this EP, only expresses that. It would be good if you could've thrown more different type of records on here. But, for what it's worth, it's still a standout project. Good from beginning to end. Work is in progress, and it shows. Production: B+ Lyrics: B+ Content: A... Overall: B+
